Why we verify drivers and hosts, and what we check.

Every driver confirms their identity before their first booking, and hosts complete a more detailed check before listing. This keeps fake accounts and payment fraud off the platform.

What we check

• Drivers: a photo ID and a selfie.
• Hosts: a photo ID, a selfie and a liveness check, plus proof of address where required.

The check is done by a specialist provider. We keep the result, not copies of your documents.

If it fails

You can try again from Account, then Verification. If it keeps failing, contact us and we'll review it by hand.
