Host Terms
Version 1 · effective 1 November 2026
Also available in: Deutsch · हिन्दी
1. Scope
These Host Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when you list a space on ParkTracer. If you list as a business, they also form our terms with business users under the EU and UK platform-to-business rules.
2. Your right to let the space
- You confirm that you own the space or have written permission from the owner, landlord, freeholder, management company or owners' association to let it.
- You confirm that letting it does not break your lease, mortgage, title conditions, planning or zoning rules, and that the space does not depend on a council-issued residents' permit.
- You check that your home, buildings or landlord insurance allows the use. ParkTracer is not an insurer and its host protection is not insurance.
3. Accurate listings
Describe the space truthfully: location, size, height limits, access, EV charging, CCTV, covered or accessible features and any restrictions. Keep your calendar and prices up to date. We may ask for evidence and may pause listings that are inaccurate.
4. Verification and business information
You complete an advanced identity check before your first listing goes live. If you list as a business you give us your business name, address, contact details, trade register number and a self-certification that you only offer services that comply with the law. We may verify this information and show the required parts on your listings.
5. Bookings and cancellations
- You decide whether a space is instant-book or request-to-book, and which cancellation policy applies.
- If you cancel a confirmed booking, the driver gets a full refund and a cancellation fee is deducted from your future payouts (10 if cancelled 24 hours or more before the start, 25 if later, in the booking currency). Each cancellation adds a strike; with 3 strikes in 12 months your listings are paused until we review them.
- Keep access codes and instructions current and make the space available as booked.
6. Money
- Payouts are made through Stripe Connect to your verified account. Our commission is deducted from each booking; the rate is shown in the app before you publish.
- Your share is released after the booking starts. We may hold payouts while a dispute is open or while required information (for example a tax identification number) is missing.
- If a driver is refunded after you were paid, we may deduct the amount from future payouts.
- Invoices and receipts we issue for bookings: the arrangement for invoicing on your behalf (self-billing) is [To be confirmed].
7. Taxes
You are responsible for declaring your income and for any VAT on your parking services. The law requires us to collect information about hosts and their earnings and to report it to tax authorities (EU DAC7, the UK reporting rules and, for US hosts, Form 1099-K through Stripe). We give you a copy of what we report.
8. Ranking, restriction and complaints
- Listings are ranked by the criteria described in the Terms of Service; hosts cannot pay for placement.
- We may restrict, suspend or end your use of ParkTracer for breaches of these terms or the law, for repeated cancellations, or for safety or fraud reasons. We give a statement of reasons; where the law requires it we give 30 days' notice before ending the relationship, except for serious or repeated breaches.
- You can complain about any decision through the app (Account → Help & support) within 6 months. Mediators available for business users: [To be confirmed].
9. Your data and drivers' data
You may use drivers' personal data only to fulfil the booking. Contact details are shown only after a booking is confirmed. Don't take payments outside ParkTracer.
10. Ending your listing
You can pause or archive listings at any time. Confirmed bookings must be honoured or cancelled under section 5.
