Cancellation policies
Flexible, moderate and strict: what you get back and when.
Every listing shows its policy before you pay. Within 15 minutes of booking you can cancel for free, as long as the start was at least 1 hour away.
The three policies
- Flexible: full refund until 1 hour before the start.
- Moderate: full refund until 24 hours before the start, 50% until the start.
- Strict: full refund until 7 days before the start, 50% until 24 hours before.
The service fee is only refunded with a full refund. Monthly plans can be cancelled for a full refund until 48 hours before the first day; after that you can stop the renewal.
If the host cancels
You always get a full refund including the service fee. If it happens less than 24 hours before the start you also get credit towards another booking.
